After the Douro Museum, the D. Luís I Foundation in Cascais and the Figueira da Foz Centre of Arts and Enternainment, the Galeria Côr Espontânea receives the Ernest Lieblich collection, composed by more than 40 artworks of Portuguese Modern and Contemporary Art.
Ernest Lieblich, borned in Germany, brother of the writer Ilse Losa, came to Portugal as a refugee, in 1933, having settled provisionally in Oporto before departing to the United States of America where he prospered as a businessman, having obtained there the American nationality.
The frequent visits to Portugal motivated by his family connections and affective bounds, as well as his interest in plastic arts, led him to gather a collection – Ernest Lieblich Collection – composed by these great contemporaneous Portuguese painters who, generally speaking, represent some of the most important movements of the 20th Century.
At the same day there will be a presentation and tasting of Global Satisfaction Lda.
