Roberto Diago

Cuban painter (1971), he is considered one of most prominent contemporary Cuban artist and one of the most renowned internationally. In 1990 he graduated from the San Alejandro National Academy of Visual Arts having, since then, been awarded countless prizes and distinctions in and outside Cuba. His works combine painting, collages and mixed techniques, with themes that frequently combine his identity as a Cuban contemporary artist with his identity of man with African ancestors.
