Nemésio Antunez

Chilean painter and engraver (1918-1993). His artworks, inserted in Surrealism, seek to explore three things: shapes, the dynamics of moving shapes and the de-contextualization of shapes around the artwork. “I’m a painter of experiences and everything I do, say or paint is impregnated with what I think or feel”, words of the painter that can be used to describe his work which, the more we get to know it, the more it tells us about Man and its life.
