Luís Darocha

Portuguese painter (1945), he lives and works in Paris. He attended the Faculties of Fine Arts of the Universities of Lisbon and Porto and the Coimbra Plastic Arts Centre. From 1975 to 1996 he was a multi-faceted lecturer Professor at the Schools of Fine Arts of Metz, Dijon, Limoges, Reims; and lecturer at the Schools of Fine Arts of Lorient and Besançon. He was also lectured at the Musée National d’Art Moderne in Paris (Centre Georges Pompidou) from 1976 to 1984. He published several books in the Éditions Voix / Richard Meier and holds exhibitions since 1970, under the pseudonym of Luís Darocha.
