Jesús Castañón

Asturian ceramist and sculptor, he was born in 1956. In 1967 he started learning drawing and painting at the Agrupación Gijonesa de Bellas Artes. In 1976 he received training in welding at the Revillagigedo Centre. He took part in several exhibitions of drawing and painting, even receiving some awards. He was the co-founder of the Ceramics Studio “Textura” (1986-1999), dedicating himself to ceramics from that time on. Nowadays he works the iron.
