Jacinto Luís

Was born in 1945. In the year 1964 goes to Paris and in 1969 appear his early works in drawing and painting.

From 1971 to 1975 is fellow of the Italian Government and attends in Rome the Academy of the arts. Is a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Paris 1982/1983. In the years 1992 to 1997 lives in Madrid. Goes to live in Lisbon from 1997. Exhibit his work in Portugal, France, USA, Colombia, Brussels, Sweden, Spain, among others.

Is represented in private and public collections, including: Bank of Portugal, BPI, Bolsa de Valores, CGD, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Fundação Oriente (Lisbon and Macau), Cupertino de Miranda Foundation, European Parliament.
