Portuguese sculptor and painter (1928-2009), he enrolled at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto in 1949. His work is represented in several countries, especially in France where he settled in 1956. In Portugal he left some artworks from which stand out the sculptural set of the Varela roundabout, Murtosa, in 2005, and the sculptural set for the Lisbon subway in 1993/94.
